Partnership
Sponsor BSides Manchester.
Sponsorship enables accessible tickets, supports grassroots technical culture, and helps connect adjacent communities in the North West.
01 The case
Why sponsor BSides Manchester?
BSides Manchester is a community-led day where engaged practitioners from multiple disciplines spend extended time together. It is not a trade show, and it is not a procurement audience. It is the people who design, build, run, and defend the systems your products depend on.
Cross-disciplinary audience
Security, software, platform, infrastructure, architecture, product, and operations practitioners in one room. A single day, a broad audience.
Practitioner-first
Attendees are the people who evaluate, recommend, and adopt tools day to day. The conversation is technical, not transactional.
Regionally rooted
Manchester's technical scene is one of the strongest outside London. Sponsoring BSides Manchester supports the city's communities, not just a single conference date.
02 Where it goes
Your sponsorship keeps tickets low-cost.
Tickets for 2027 are £10. Students get in free with a confirmed university email address, and we are setting aside allocations for North West universities. A low-cost paid ticket keeps no-shows down while keeping the event open to everyone.
Sponsors cover the core costs of running the event. That is what lets us keep the price low and the student places free.
We'll publish our 2027 cost breakdown once the venue is confirmed, and a full income and spending report after the event.
03 Packages
2027 packages.
Four flat packages, named for what they do. There is no Bronze, Silver, or Gold here. Each package includes everything in the one before it.
Every package funds the same thing: low-cost tickets, free student places, a cross-disciplinary day, and a programme chosen on merit rather than spend. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to these prices.

04 Other ways to help
In-kind partnerships.
Not every contribution is financial. We welcome in-kind partnerships from organisations that can help with the practical side of running a community event. In-kind partners are treated as equals to cash sponsors.
Venue Partner
Provide or subsidise a venue for an upcoming event
Catering Partner
Provide or subsidise food and refreshments for attendees
Workshop/CTF Partner
Provide infrastructure, challenges, or facilitation for hands-on activities
Community Swag Partner

Media Partner

Free community tables
Community groups get a free table on the day: InfoSec Manchester, OWASP Manchester, 2600, Cybrewery and others. If you run a Manchester community group, get in touch.
Sponsorship does not include speaking slots
BSides Manchester maintains a strict separation between sponsorship and programme content. Our Call for Papers (CFP) is anonymous and merit-reviewed. Sponsor representatives are welcome to submit talks through the same process as everyone else, but sponsorship does not guarantee, imply, or influence selection.
This firewall exists to protect the integrity of the programme and the trust of our attendees. It is non-negotiable.
Two more commitments we make to attendees:
- Attendee data stays with attendees. We do not share attendee lists or contact details with sponsors.
- Sponsor branding never outsizes BSides branding. On signage, slides and the website, sponsor logos are never larger than ours.
